About James

James X.P. McGillivary is a sole practitioner criminal lawyer whose practice is exclusively focused on impaired driving by alcohol or drugs and 'over 80' driving offences. He has practised criminal law since being called to the bar in 1988 and is routinely invited to lecture on impaired driving law at judicial conferences, defence counsel conferences, law school functions, and media events. He serves clients throughout Ottawa and Eastern Ontario.
