About Iuliana

Iuliana (Juliana) Duna-Nees has appeared before the Provincial Court of Alberta and the Alberta Court of Queen's Bench, and has made written submissions to the Federal Court of Canada. She has extensive experience with immigration applications, including matters involving CBSA, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada, and Service Canada, and assists clients with Federal Court judicial review applications and proceedings before the Immigration Division, Refugee Protection Division, and Immigration Appeal Division. She worked as a Canadian Regulated Immigration Consultant beginning in 2013 and taught immigration modules at the Academy of Learning Career College in Calgary. Iuliana completed her Canadian legal education through the NCA program, obtaining her Certificate of Qualification in 2021, and is an active member of the Law Society of Alberta. She holds a Bachelor in Law from the University of Bucharest, Romania, a master's degree from the University of Antwerpen in Belgium, and an Immigration Consultant Diploma from Ashton College in Vancouver.
