About Ilija
Ilija Dimeski founded Dimeski Law and focuses his practice on representing workers in employment, labour, and human rights matters, both unionized and non-unionized. He does not represent employers. He has litigated before boards and tribunals including private grievance arbitrations, the Grievance Settlement Board, the Ontario Labour Relations Board, the Ministry of Labour, the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board, the Ontario Court of Justice, and the Federal Court of Canada. Before becoming a lawyer, he represented employees at disciplinary meetings, grievance procedures, and collective bargaining negotiations. He teaches law courses, mentors others, and volunteers at a local soup kitchen. He has received the Volunteer Service Award from the Government of Ontario and the Sovereign's Medal for Volunteers from the Governor General of Canada.
