About Heather

Heather Zamorano has practised family law since 1995. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in the Honours English Literature Program from McGill University before completing her LLB at the University of Ottawa, and she was called to the Ontario Bar in 1995. She has served as a panel lawyer for the Office of the Children's Lawyer, Personal Rights section, since 2001, and is Vice President of the County of Lanark Law Association. She is also a member of Kingston Collaborative Family Law and of the Association of Family and Conciliatory Courts, Ontario Chapter. Her approach emphasizes client self-determination, the best interests of children involved, and resolving matters through negotiation and cooperation rather than conflict.
