Heather Ferg

About Heather

Heather Ferg is an experienced trial and appellate lawyer who has argued cases at all levels of court in Canada, including numerous matters before the Supreme Court of Canada. She practises criminal and regulatory law with a focus on complex matters including fraud, extortion, conspiracy, wiretap, and transnational cases, and is regularly asked to provide risk-containment and response plans during investigations and enforcement actions. She is a sessional instructor at the University of Calgary's Faculty of Law, where she teaches evidence, and has presented at legal conferences nationwide on the Charter and constitutional litigation. Ms. Ferg serves on the Board of Directors of the Legal Archives Society of Alberta and is a member of the Calgary Bar Association and the Calgary Criminal Defence Lawyers' Association. She is called to the bar in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
