About Harriet

Harriet Altman has practised law from the same Toronto location since 1979, with an emphasis on real estate transactions and wills and estates. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Toronto in 1967, graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1973, and articled at the Federal Department of Justice before being called to the bar in 1975. She has served as Chairman of the Court of Revision in the former City of North York and on the executive of the Bayview Valley Ratepayers Association since 1979. Her real estate work covers house, condo and multiplex purchases and sales, new home construction, commercial transactions, leases, title issues, mortgage transactions and private mortgages, alongside estate, wills, powers of attorney and probate matters.
