Kopperud Hamilton Beyer is a small law firm based in Meaford, Ontario, with a second office in Thornbury, serving the Blue Mountain, Meaford and south Georgian Bay communities. The firm traces back to 1975, when Norman Kopperud opened the practice. In 2005, Kopperud turned the firm over to Robert J. Hamilton, who led the firm until Hamilton's death in 2018. H. Paul Beyer, who joined the firm in 2015, then took over full responsibility. Today the firm practises real estate law, corporate and commercial law, and wills, estates and trusts, built on decades of continuous service in the two towns.

Paul Beyer grew up on a family farm in Grey County and earned an LL.B. from the University of Ottawa, graduating magna cum laude. A legal career that began in 1985 in general solicitor's practice in Toronto included a stint as associate counsel for the Confederation Life Insurance Group of Companies, and general counsel roles at an international finance company and a publicly traded hospitality company. Before joining Kopperud Hamilton Beyer in 2015, five years were spent in a commercial real estate and construction law practice in Toronto. Beyer is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and a Notary Public.
