About Guy

Bélanger has more than forty years of legal experience and joined Beaudry Bertrand as a partner in January 1998. His practice spans appearances before all judicial and administrative bodies in Quebec. He earned a bachelor's degree in administration, specializing in accounting, from the University of Ottawa in 1976, followed by a diploma in legal studies in 1979, and was admitted to the Barreau du Québec the following year. In 1989 he completed a degree at McGill University's Arbitration Institute. His practice focuses on insurance law, commercial insurance, liability law including product and professional liability, and civil litigation, and he also acts as an arbitrator in civil and commercial matters; during 2002-2003 he issued more than a hundred arbitration decisions related to a class action. He is a member of the Institute of Mediation and Arbitration of Quebec and the ADR Institute of Canada.
