Gurkirtan Lali was born in Edmonton and earned her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester in 2017, before being called to the Alberta Bar in 2020. She is the founding lawyer of Star Legal Services and focuses her practice on real estate, commercial and family law. Lali serves as an executive member of the South Asian Bar Association Edmonton and sits on the board of the Boyle Street Education Centre.
