About George

George Reis is a business immigration lawyer with more than 25 years of experience assisting clients with immigration and citizenship matters, with a focus on cross-border movement for employment, business development and foreign investment. He joined EY Law as an associate in 1998, became a partner in 2005, and served as managing partner of the immigration practice until 2024, leading a team of over 260 immigration professionals across Canada. He has been the Americas leader of EY's Global Immigration Services practice since 2012.
