About Geoffrey
Geoffrey Horne came to the practice of law after a career in professional and high-performance sports, having served as the Strength and Conditioning Coordinator for the Toronto Blue Jays from 1993 to 1997 and as part of their 1993 World Series championship team. He later worked as the Athletic Therapist for Canada's National Men's Hockey Team from 1997 to 1999, including as Head Athletic Therapist for Team Canada at two World Hockey Championships. Horne was called to the Alberta bar in June 2003 and joined Sandy Cameron as a partner in Cameron Horne Law Office. He specializes in residential real estate conveyancing, with an interest in condominium governance, as well as wills and estate matters and small business law. He teaches the Basic Business Law course for the Professional Home Builders Institute of Alberta in both Calgary and Edmonton, and has guest lectured at Mount Royal University. He is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association's Residential Real Property Section, and the Calgary Bar Association.
