About Gayle
Gayle has practiced as a lawyer and mediator in British Columbia since being called to the bar on January 13, 1981, after graduating from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1978. She completed British Columbia's first family mediation training in 1984 and is an accredited Family Law Dispute Resolution Professional, recognized by peers as one of Canada's Best Lawyers in Alternative Dispute Resolution. Since December 2025 she has downsized her practice to conduct mediations only where both parties have counsel, generally by Zoom with special arrangements available for in-person sessions. Gayle remains a full-time member of the BC Bar.
