About Gary
Gary Batasar has practised criminal defence at the Brampton courthouse for over 28 years, starting as a student and becoming the first lawyer of South Asian origin in Peel Region to practise criminal law exclusively. He studied political science at the University of Toronto before attending Queen's University Faculty of Law, where he founded the Queen's Criminal Law Association in 1994. He has handled over 30 homicide cases and has appeared on CNN and Larry King Live discussing high-profile trials.
