About Fade

Fade Orefuja is a Barrister, Solicitor and Notary Public practising in Alberta. Before being called to the Alberta bar, she worked with the Maintenance and Enforcement Program of the Alberta Ministry of Justice, providing access to justice in child and spousal support matters. She also practised law in Nigeria before relocating in 2005. Fade's practice focuses on all aspects of immigration law, including visas, refugee claims, and judicial reviews, along with Canadian criminal law and child welfare law. She holds an LLB from the University of Ibadan, Nigeria (2001), a Barrister at Law qualification from the Nigerian Law School (2003), and Canada's National Committee on Accreditation Certificate of Qualification (2016), and was called to the Alberta bar in 2017. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association, the Calgary Bar Association, and the Law Society of Alberta.
