About Eva

Eva Chan practises family law and represents clients at trial before the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice, with additional experience assisting on appeals before the Ontario Court of Appeal. She was called to the bar in 2015 after articling between Meyrick Law and the Law Office of Thomas J. MacLennan. Before that she spent two years as an associate at Jain Family Law and eight years at Meyrick Law. Eva holds a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School, where she competed on the Walsh Family Law Moot team, volunteered with the Family Law Project through Pro Bono Students Canada, and represented clients before administrative tribunals through the school's student legal clinic. She earned a B.A. in English Rhetoric and Professional Writing from the University of Waterloo and spent five years working in Rogers Communications' wireless division before entering law.
