About Eric

Eric Sustad is Of Counsel at Global Immigration Partners, where he has spent more than 16 years helping individuals and companies bring skilled workers and family members to the United States. He represents clients before USCIS and the State Department on change and adjustment of status as well as consular processing, working on E-2 treaty investor visas, EB-1A and EB-2 NIW self-petitions, O-1 visas, and L-1A/L-1B intracompany transfers. Eric is fluent in English, French, and Spanish and conversational in Portuguese, and has spent extended stretches working with clients in Brazil, Colombia, India, Mexico, and Portugal. He began his career in Minnesota before moving to Washington, D.C. and then Texas, and now splits his time between the United States and islands in the North Atlantic.
