About Emily

Emily Reed practises family and criminal law as an associate at the firm. She earned her J.D. from Thompson Rivers University in British Columbia, and while in law school worked with an intimate partner violence shelter and a legal clinic focused on child protection, experiences that shaped her commitment to client-centred representation. In her family law work, she favours negotiated, out-of-court resolutions to reduce conflict and cost but will advocate strongly in court when settlement isn't possible. On the criminal side, she is focused on defending clients' rights and building tailored defence strategies at every stage of the process.
