About Elif
Elif earned her LL.B. from Selcuk University in Turkey in 2019 and is now working through the Foreign Trained Lawyers Program at the University of Calgary. She was called to the Ankara Bar in 2020 and remains in good standing there, and she is pursuing her National Committee of Accreditation qualification to become licensed in Canada. Her work focuses on immigration law, drawing on legal research, document drafting, and client relations skills, and she has experience in both legal clinic and private practice settings, including managing files, court scheduling, and preparing submissions. Before moving to Canada she articled in Turkey in family, employment, and criminal law, and she's fluent in English and Turkish.
