About Dick
Dick Byl is a long-time Prince George resident who graduated from Prince George Senior Secondary School in the 1970s. He holds degrees in mathematics and law from the University of British Columbia and a Master of Laws from the London School of Economics. He has practiced law for more than 37 years, concentrating mainly on personal injury litigation and, more recently, family law, and has taken hundreds of cases to trial in the Supreme Court of British Columbia. His practice has brought him before every level of court in Canada, including the Supreme Court of Canada, and he has taken part in more than 500 mediations. Dick has also supported many local sports teams, schools, and charities in Prince George.
