About Derrek

Derrek Giroux-Lacasse was called to the Barreau du Québec in 2016, holding an LL.L. from the Université d'Ottawa (2014). He has practised at the firm's Val-d'Or office since 2018 and took part in founding it. Originally from Belleterre in the Témiscamingue region, he began his legal career as a law clerk in Gatineau before returning to Abitibi-Témiscamingue for his articling. His practice focuses on family law, youth protection and civil matters in court representation.
