About Derek

Derek Wilson is a Hamilton personal injury and disability lawyer with over 30 years of experience. He earned a BA (Honours) from McMaster University, an LL.B. from the University of Alberta, and an LL.M. with Merit in Civil Litigation from the London School of Economics. He was called to the Bar in 1995. He previously defended insurance companies as a partner at a Toronto firm, and opened his own Hamilton firm in 2013 to focus on personal injury and denied disability claims.
