About Denis

Denis Sicotte founded the firm in November 1993 as a sole practitioner and now practices as a partner at Sicotte Guilbault. He graduated from the University of Ottawa's French Common Law program in 1991 and was called to the bar in 1993. He was previously licensed as a chartered accountant and practiced in both professions until 1997, when he shifted his focus to building the firm. He has served as a senior instructor for the estate planning and administration section of the Law Society of Upper Canada's Bar Admission Course in Ottawa. His practice covers bankruptcy and debt restructuring, commercial financing, income tax planning and administration, mergers and acquisitions, business structures and agreements, wills and estate planning, and guardianship applications.
