Business & Corporate LawDeborah L. Wall-Armstrong has practised law in Barrie since being called to the bar in 1977, with a practice spanning wills, estates, real estate and some corporate commercial matters. She has long been active in long-term care issues, having served on a committee that helped shape the rules for powers of attorney in the early 1990s and representing the Ontario Long Term Care Association on the Public Guardian and Trustee's community advisory committee for fifteen years, until 2011. In 2013 the Ontario Long Term Care Association gave her an Honourary Membership, an award given to only 31 people over the association's history at that point. She serves as a trustee and past chair of the Burton Avenue United Church Board, sits on the Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre research ethics board, and is president of Empower Simcoe. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from McMaster University and a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School.
