About Deanna
Deanna Barbieri finished her Honours BA in History at York University in 2009, graduating summa cum laude, before heading to the University of Toronto's Faculty of Law, where she received her JD in 2013. While there she volunteered with Pro Bono Students Canada's Family Law Project and worked as a caseworker in the family law division of Downtown Legal Services. She was called to the Ontario bar in June 2014 and worked as an associate at a Markham-area firm before joining Shariff & Associates. Her practice now covers family law along with wills and powers of attorney, spanning divorce, custody and access, support, and property division. She belongs to the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Bar Association and the York Region Law Association.
