About David
David Wilcox has practised criminal defence law in Barrie since 1987 and holds a degree from the University of Western Ontario. After decades running his own successful practice, he joined Mor Fisher LLP as Senior Defence Counsel in 2024, bringing deep familiarity with the local courts, Crown offices and judges of Simcoe County. His work focuses on drug charges and Charter search and seizure arguments, firearms offences, sexual assault defence, impaired driving and serious provincial offences. His long career in Barrie has given clients the benefit of relationships and a reputation built over many years dedicated to criminal defence.
