David Cameletti

About David Cameletti

David Cameletti has been a lawyer since 1986, practising privately in Sudbury, Sault Ste. Marie and Guelph. In 1997 David founded the solo practice that became Cameletti & Cameletti, a family-run Guelph firm whose focus is real estate, family law, and wills and estates. Christina Cameletti joined in 2020, and the two formed the practice they share today.

David's courtroom experience runs across Ontario's tribunals and courts at every level, from the Ontario Court of Justice and the Superior Court of Justice to the Court of Appeal. In 2016 David added formal mediation training, completing a Certificate in Mediation at Harvard Law School.

Local history is a genuine passion. David is president of the Guelph Historical Society and has represented it at events in Canada and Europe. A past president of the Wellington Law Association, David also edited Guelph & Wellington County's Legal Past, the association's book on the area's legal history, and was one of its substantive contributors as a member of the association's History Committee.

Civic work keeps David busy too, with seats on two City of Guelph bodies, the Heritage Advisory Committee and the Guelph 200 Community Working Group, and on the Estates Committee of the Federation of Ontario Law Associations. When the office is closed, there's a good chance you'll spot David at a Guelph Storm game, or at home cheering on other teams.
