About David

David Aujla is an immigration lawyer whose practice is focused exclusively on Canadian immigration law, and he has advised clients worldwide for over 40 years. He holds university degrees in biochemistry, philosophy, and law, graduating from Western University's law school in 1974. He is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia and of the Canadian Bar Association's immigration subsection, and has spoken at CBA immigration conferences as well as to civic associations, boards, and real estate companies in Victoria, Vancouver, Vancouver Island, and the Gulf Islands. His own father immigrated to Canada without status in 1930 and did not become a Canadian citizen until 1947, an experience David has described as part of his connection to immigration law. He practises from offices in Victoria and Vancouver, British Columbia, and has been quoted on immigration matters in a New York Times article.
