About Dathan

Dathan Thomas is an associate at McDougall Gauley's Saskatoon office. He joined the firm as a summer student in 2022 and articled before being called to the bar. He played varsity football at the University of Saskatchewan as team captain and MVP, and later founded a national non-profit delivering sports programs to First Nations communities. During law school he volunteered with Pro Bono Law Saskatchewan on legal education and community initiatives. Dathan earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from MacEwan University in 2014, a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Alberta in 2021, and a Juris Doctor from the University of Saskatchewan in 2024. He was called to the Saskatchewan bar in 2025.
