About Courtney

Courtney Smith is the founder of Vintage Law. Born and raised in Ottawa, she attended Carleton University, where she earned an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Psychology while captaining the varsity basketball team. She then moved to England to complete a Bachelor of Laws at the University of Leicester, competing on the school's basketball and equestrian teams. Before founding Vintage Law, she worked as an associate at an Ottawa firm following her call to the Bar of Ontario. Courtney values the closer client relationships a small firm allows, and she aims to make often-intimidating legal processes feel relaxed and comfortable.
