About Cory

Cory Wilson is a Calgary criminal defence lawyer with a diverse practice covering offences from theft to murder as well as quasi-criminal and regulatory matters, and has appeared at every level of court in Alberta on high-profile cases including homicides, kidnappings and major drug seizures. He obtained his J.D. from the University of Calgary Law School, focusing on criminal and constitutional law, and articled at Bennett Jones LLP in civil litigation. Early in his career he worked closely with Willie deWit, Q.C. (now a judge on the Alberta Court of Appeal) and Hersh Wolch, Q.C. He volunteers with Student Legal Assistance at the University of Calgary Law School and is a member of the Law Society of Alberta, the Canadian Bar Association and the Legal Education Society of Alberta.
