About Christina

Christina Hamp is a barrister at law at Dominion Criminal Defence. Hamp earned an Honours Bachelor's degree specializing in Criminology and Bioethics from the University of Toronto, followed by a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the University of Sussex in the United Kingdom with a focus on the sociology of criminal conduct and criminal defence. Hamp then returned to the University of Toronto Faculty of Law to complete Canadian law qualifications. During legal studies, Hamp volunteered with the Innocence Project and with the Legal Aid branch of Mind in Brighton and Hove, UK. Hamp completed articles at a Bay Street firm in Toronto and has practised exclusively in criminal law since being called to the Ontario Bar, appearing at all levels of court in Ontario including the Court of Appeal, with a focus on sexual and domestic offence matters. Hamp is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the Criminal Lawyers' Association.
