About Christian
Christian is a lifelong Alberta resident who has practiced criminal defence law since the late 1990s. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology before graduating with honours from the University of Ottawa Law School in 1997, then articled and practiced at a criminal defence firm in Edmonton. He built a practice in the South Peace region beginning in 2000, opened his own office in 2007, and relocated to Grande Prairie in 2009, where he continues to serve clients across Alberta and into British Columbia. His work spans the full range of criminal matters, from shoplifting to murder, though much of his current practice focuses on defending people charged with sexual offences. Christian mentors newer lawyers through the Law Society of Alberta's mentorship program, offers pro bono advice through Grande Prairie Legal Guidance, and sits on Legal Aid Alberta's Appeals panel.
