About Cherolyn

Cherolyn Knapp founded Knapp Resolutions after more than 15 years as a civil litigation lawyer, and now focuses her practice on conflict and dispute resolution as a neutral party. She earned a Bachelor of Commerce from Toronto Metropolitan University in 1995, then a law degree from the University of Ottawa, graduating cum laude in 2003 and being called to the Ontario bar in 2004. From 2004 to 2019 she practised as a litigation lawyer, advising employees, employers, and organizations on employment, human rights, and civil disputes, and was co-managing partner of a small law firm. In 2019 she moved to British Columbia, where she was also admitted to the bar, and opened Knapp Resolutions to focus on workplace and organizational conflict, including investigations into bullying, harassment, discrimination, and misconduct. She is a Qualified Mediator with the ADR Institute of Canada and belongs to the Law Society of British Columbia, the Canadian Bar Association, and the Association of Workplace Investigators.
