About Carol

Carol A. Allen has practiced family law since 1994, beginning a career in Toronto that has spanned over 30 years. Allen's practice covers divorce and separation, property division, child and spousal support, parenting arrangements, and family violence matters, including obtaining restraining orders and representing parents before the Children's Aid Society. Allen has represented clients at all levels of court in Ontario, including appeals to the Ontario Divisional Court, the Ontario Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Allen belongs to several professional and volunteer organizations, among them the Grey Law Association, the Bruce Law Association, the Toronto Family Lawyers Association, and the Grey Bruce Community Legal Clinic Area Committee, and serves on the Crown Wardship Pro Bono Appeals Panel. The practice operates as a virtual law office and accepts Legal Aid Ontario certificates.
