About Carina
Carina W.C. Au practices personal injury, wills and estates, commercial litigation, insurance defence and commercial lease law in Calgary. She also handles immigration matters and wrongful dismissal claims, and her earlier work as a defence lawyer gave her insight into the insurance industry's claims and settlement process. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Management from the University of Calgary in 1994 and a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Manchester in England in 1997, graduating with second-upper class honours. She articled with the Calgary firm Spier Harben before establishing her own practice. Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin, she has been a regular guest on a Cantonese-language talk show on Fairchild Radio since 1998, discussing legal topics. She has volunteered with Calgary Legal Guidance and the Calgary Chinese Community Service Association since 1997.
