About Brenden

Brenden Walker is a criminal defence lawyer at La Liberté Cronin & Company who practises alongside T. E. (Terry) La Liberté, K.C. in both Provincial and Supreme Court across British Columbia. He first joined the firm in 2020 as a volunteer law student and has since graduated from the Peter A. Allard School of Law at the University of British Columbia, earning a specialization in Aboriginal Law in 2021 and a certificate in Indigenous Cultural Competency. During law school he took part in the Indigenous Community Legal Clinic in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside, providing legal support to Indigenous community members, and continued volunteering there after joining the firm. He was also a member of the Indigenous Law Students Association and the Admissions Committee at the Allard School of Law, and served as a panel member for Aboriginal Experience Day at UBC advising Indigenous high school students interested in law.
