About Benyat

Benyat Abdulwahab is an employment lawyer at Purnell Employment Law. She earned her law degree from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto, where she worked in the Workers' Rights Division at the Parkdale Legal Clinic representing workers in wrongful dismissal, unpaid wages, reprisal, and human rights matters. After law school she articled at Calgary Legal Guidance, representing vulnerable Calgarians in criminal and traffic matters and providing pro bono legal assistance in family, housing, civil, and estate law. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a minor in Economics from the University of Calgary and is certified in de-escalation training.
