About Becky

Becky Ma joined Witten in September 2023 as an articling student. She earned her Juris Doctor with Distinction from the University of Alberta in 2023, following a Bachelor of Arts focused on sociology and English studies, and was admitted to the Alberta bar in 2024. During law school, Becky volunteered with the Student Articling Committee and the Federation of Asian Canadian Lawyers' University of Alberta chapter, and worked at the Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner and as a research assistant at the Faculty of Law. She is an executive member of the CBA's Young Lawyers North section. Outside of work, Becky is an avid reader and enjoys movies and hiking.
