About Beatrice

Beatrice Bate has practised as a litigator in British Columbia since 1998, after receiving her LLB from University College London in 1993. She has significant litigation experience, having appeared in the Provincial Court of BC, the Supreme Court of BC, the BC Court of Appeal, and the Supreme Court of Canada. Despite her litigation background, Beatrice generally tries to resolve family law cases through mediation and negotiation before pursuing court proceedings.
