About Bay

Bay Ryley is a Toronto employment and human rights lawyer with over two decades of experience in human rights, employment litigation, mediation, professional regulation, safe sport, education, and public inquiries, with a particular focus on harassment and discrimination claims. Bay was called to the bar in 2001 and articled at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP. Before founding Ryley Law, she was counsel to the Human Rights Legal Support Centre, the Ontario Human Rights Commission, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and the Constitutional Law Branch of the Ontario Ministry of the Attorney General, and served on the MFP/Computer Leasing Inquiry and the Walkerton (Tainted Water) Inquiry. She holds an LL.B. from Dalhousie Law School and a B.A. and M.A. in History from Queen's University. Bay is also the founder and president of Ryley Learning, a workplace eLearning company focused on anti-harassment, anti-racism, and unconscious bias training.
