Aswani Datt is a Mississauga criminal defence lawyer admitted to the Ontario Bar in 2002. He holds an LLB from Dalhousie Law School, an LLM in Criminal Law and Evidence from Osgoode Hall Law School, and a PhD in Criminal Justice from Walden University, and he has taught Evidence Law at Osgoode Hall Law School.
