About Andrew

Andrew Uhlman is originally from Nova Scotia and has lived in the capital region of British Columbia since 2003. He graduated from Dalhousie University in 2001, majoring in political science, and obtained his law degree from the University of Victoria in 2005. Since being called to the bar in 2007, he has worked primarily as a trial lawyer in the BC Supreme and Provincial Courts, mostly in Victoria and the Western Communities. He is a sole practitioner, so clients are guaranteed to be represented by him directly rather than an associate. Alongside his private practice, he assists clients through legal aid and regularly serves as duty counsel through the Legal Aid BC program.
