About Andrew

Andrew Burton focuses exclusively on criminal defence and has practiced in the Niagara region for more than a decade. He studied biology and political science as a double major at Acadia University before earning his Juris Doctor from the University of Toronto's law faculty, and he was called to the bar in 2009. He sits on the board of the Lincoln County Law Association, belongs to the Criminal Lawyers' Association, and serves as the local representative for the Niagara Criminal Defence Bar in St. Catharines. Andrew also volunteers as a coach and judge for the Ontario Justice Education Network's mock trial tournaments and sits on the Legal Aid panel for criminal law, Gladue, and serious matters.
