About Andrea

Andrea Girones has spent over 29 years helping victims of accidents and medical malpractice secure compensation, with a particular focus on complex birth trauma cases, including brachial plexus injuries and hypoxic brain injuries at birth. She also represents victims of car accidents and clients facing disability benefit denials, and operates on a deferred fee basis for about 99% of her cases, meaning clients don't pay until she secures a financial resolution. She has extensive courtroom experience and is prepared to take cases to trial when mandatory mediation doesn't resolve them. She holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the University of Toronto, and has been a member of the Law Society of Upper Canada since 1995. She belongs to the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, the American Association of Justice, and the County of Carleton Law Association, and serves as a councillor for the Royal Astronomical Society of Canada, Ottawa Centre.
