About Alison

Alison R. Macdonald is the founder of M Barristers, practising criminal and family law in Ohsweken and the Six Nations community since 2004. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology from Simon Fraser University in 1999, a Juris Doctorate from Queen's University in 2003, and later returned to Simon Fraser for a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration in 2006. She aims to help clients reach settlements where possible while advocating for them in court when needed, and the firm has accepted Legal Aid Ontario certificates since she was called to the bar in July 2004.
