About Alain

Alain Béliveau is a lawyer and accredited mediator who was called to the Barreau du Québec in 1988. He graduated with honours from the Faculty of Law at McGill University with a B.C.L./LL.B. in civil law and common law. Béliveau has spent his career developing a focused practice in labour and employment law, advising and representing both employees and employers before the courts, including on terminations, grievances, union accreditation, and occupational injuries, as well as on collective bargaining. Over more than 35 years he has worked with manufacturing and service companies, hotel operators, municipalities, transportation companies, police and fire services, and hospitals and educational institutions.
