He advises and represents professional orders and trustees on disciplinary and penal matters, including the illegal practice of a profession, and also acts as legal counsel on professional liability files that draw on criminal law knowledge. Before joining the firm, he worked as a Crown prosecutor with the Directeur des poursuites criminelles et pénales, where he advised police forces during investigations and led numerous prosecutions before the courts, including with specialized units handling major crime and youth homicide files. Robin teaches at the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Law and has previously taught at Université de Sherbrooke, and frequently speaks on advocacy technique, investigation methods, and the role of a public prosecutor.
