Bekkering York Barristers LLP is a litigation focused law firm with an office on Kingsway in Vancouver and an appointment only office in the Landmark complex on Dickson Avenue in Kelowna, serving Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley, and the Okanagan. Founding partners Carla Bekkering and Christopher York lead a team practising civil litigation, family law, construction law, estate law, personal injury law, and alternative dispute resolution.

Bekkering was called to the British Columbia Bar in 1992 after a Bachelor of Arts from Simon Fraser University and a law degree from the University of Victoria, and clerked for the Tax Court of Canada before co founding the firm. Bekkering went on to earn Qualified Mediator and Chartered Arbitrator designations with ADR BC and now serves as president of the ADR Institute of British Columbia's board. York, called to the bar in 2007, moved a Vancouver litigation practice to Kelowna and focuses on civil disputes involving insurance, commercial, and family matters. The rest of the team trained in Canada, Nigeria, and India, giving the firm lawyers who practise insurance defence, employment, immigration, and family law alongside the founders' civil litigation work.
