Bear Creek Law LLP is a full-service litigation firm based in Surrey, British Columbia. Mikhael Magaril founded the firm after working at a small criminal law practice in Vancouver, where the work included court appearances almost every day and appellate experience gained during articles. Magaril was also one of the youngest lawyers called to the bar in British Columbia. Two more lawyers, Jasjit S. Parmar, a graduate of the Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law, and Vikramdeep Singh Ghuman (called in 2022), have since joined the firm, which now operates out of Suite 220, 10524 King George Boulevard in Surrey.

The firm deliberately avoids narrowing its focus to a single area of law. Its lawyers handle criminal defence, family law, employment disputes, wills and estates, real estate and strata matters, business and commercial law, and personal injury, so they can spot related issues across a client's legal affairs rather than sending pieces of a file elsewhere. They've appeared before the BC Court of Appeal, the Supreme Court of BC, the Provincial Court of BC, the BC Securities Commission, the Tax Court of Canada, the Workers' Compensation Appeal Tribunal, RoadSafety BC, and the BC Human Rights Tribunal. In addition to English, the firm provides services in Russian and Punjabi, and it offers free notary services, such as signing travel letters and statutory declarations, to its existing and past clients.
