About Church Atchison LLP

Church Atchison LLP is a full service law firm in Williams Lake, in the Cariboo region of British Columbia. Kevin F. Church and Coral D. Atchison opened the firm on April 3, 2023, after both had already been practising locally for years at a satellite office of a larger firm, Morelli Chertkow LLP. Church joined that firm's Kamloops and then Williams Lake offices in 2012, and Atchison articled at its Williams Lake office before being called to the British Columbia bar in 2017. When the two decided to launch their own practice, they set up their office at 197 2nd Avenue North and kept much of the client base they'd already built.

The firm handles family law, civil and commercial litigation, criminal defence, wills and estates, real estate conveyancing, and wildlife and fisheries matters, serving clients across the rural Cariboo. Church earned a law degree from the University of British Columbia in 1992 and was called to the bar in 1993, after an earlier career in industry and human resources. Atchison holds a Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University and took part in the Rural Education and Access to Lawyers Initiative summer program before articling. Coral D. Atchison practices through Coral D. Atchison Law Corporation.
